Message To My People ~ The Prophets Do Speak
Message To My People ~          The Prophets Do Speak

Christmas or Emmanuel?                            (2Cor 6;16, Lev 19:19)

This commentary is a continuation of the short story BLESSED EMMANUEL which I posted in my website www.messagetomypeople.com ~ the prophets do speak

As I wrote to the best of my abilities the beautiful story of the birth of Jesus, I combined it with another commentary of the proper greeting the Bible appropriated for us the believers (Isa 7:14, Mt 1:23).

Dear participant, when the word of God reveals to us something in the Bible, we should take heed to it and to the intent of the Spirit, for the prophets spoke by the inspiration of  Holy Ghost  (2Pet 1:21, 2Tim 3:16).  When the prophets announced the birth of Jesus, the Holy Spirit gave them the words that best describes this great event.  Emmanuel God with us in the old and New Testament is the other half of the story God wants us to know.  There is a reason his second name appears in the old and New Testament, and that is God is with us to forgive us and pardon our iniquities. Emmanuel walks among us to bless us and do great things for us through his Son Jesus Christ.  The Bible and the prophets made no mistake in this announcement; we should also not make a mistake in understanding this revelation, for this is the other side of the story, first that Jesus came to save sinners (Jn 3:16) and second that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself (2Cor 5:18, 19). These two names Jesus and Emmanuel are associated one to another and are to be properly used in the holiday season, as it was given to us at the birth of Christ by the Word of God. To choose any other greeting like Merry Christmas is to be out of the will of God, especially for the Spirit fill baptized believer and one who is Zion and New Jerusalem bound.

As I wrote in my previous article Blessed Emmanuel.  The Christian church has been contaminated by worldly traditions and cults to the point it has blinded the eyes of many.  I ‘am not the only one who ever spoke about this truth, I am just another singer in the small choir of the faithful.
As all know, the word Christmas is a combination of two words, Christ who is Jesus and mas (mass) which is a large gathering of a group of people, in this case a catholic service were this word originated from.  Someone once said that the mass is simply a church meeting.  This is not according to biblical truth, and far from being an evangelical meeting. To compare the mass to an evangelical meeting is to err from the truth (Jas5:19).

As is written, ‘And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free’ (Jn 8:32).  Please let me spoil your Christmas party. For a born again spirit fill minister or believer and cleanse by the blood of Christ to be chanting or using such greeting as Merry Christmas is to err from the truth and has departed from Apostolic Doctrine.  To be or teach Apostolic Doctrine, there must also be the fire and zeal that comes with it (Heb 1:7, 2Cor 7:11).

Having being saved this long and hearing Christians and ministers from all denominations, greet and chant Merry Christmas during this Holiday Season makes me think what happen!  Going back to the mass, my outrage is not about the catholic people, but the teachings.  The catholic priest in priestly clothing’s, as we know only Aaron and his descendents can wear priestly garments (Ex 40-43).  The improper communion, to the hail Mary exalting her as a goddess in the Ascension of Mary, to the statues of idols inside the sanctuary, and to the repeated rosary, we can only conclude the mass is not an evangelical service and is full of flaws.  What agreement hath the temple of God with idols!!!!!!!!!(2Cor 6:16).  Is not the catholic church known to be guilty of bowing down to idols and lighting candles to them???????

Some may end the argument by saying, its being like this for centuries, and that’s the tradition and we don’t see anything wrong with it.  To this I say that, St Paul said, ‘Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ’ (Col 2:8).  You can be saying or chanting words that seem right, but are they really right.  The Bible speaks about idle words that will be judged one day (Mt 12:36).  We are cleansed by the blood of Christ.  The words we hear in the sanctuary must also be clean and pure according to Biblical truth.

If any preacher in any evangelical church chants or greets the congregation with a Merry Christmas, that would be like throwing mud upon the congregation that Jesus die and cleansed with he’s own blood, biblically speaking.

The Bible speaks of separation from the sinful world, to be truly separated one must also separate himself from vain philosophies of sinful men and worldly traditions as I stated before.  To combine Christ and mass in one word greeting is to participate in their idol worshiping.  Words may seem right, but are they really right.  One time a certain damsel followed Paul crying out words that seem right for the occasion.  She did this too many times and grieved Paul, for her saying became a nuisance.  Paul discerning the spirit in her cast the evil spirit out of her and she became free (Acts 16:16-18).

Perhaps you may say, ‘much to say about nothing’.  Dear brethren it is written, remember the parable of the wheat and the tares
(Mt 13:25).  You cannot plant both seed in the field of God the church.  The Lord is very zealous and like the potter he will not stop until he sees his beautiful vessels finished and doing his will (Jer 18:6).  The Bible have given us proper names to use for greeting on the birth of Christ, lets us stay within the guidelines of the Bible.

Dear brethren take these words with prayer. The rapture is very near.  When the trumpet sound and we are about to take our flight upward, let’s not have a red flag show up in our boarding pass.  May God bless you.
